And it is further true amongst all those who claim leadership by virtue of divine authority we may apply this test with authority - that the man who stands for humanity, first, last and all the time, against all vested interest, religious and economic, is the man who stands as Jesus stood. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I looooooooooooooooooove, love, love, love, looooooooove Kyle Petty!!! But you should have known this! You need to hook me up with your friend so I can meet Kyle!!! OMG! did I mention I love Kyle Petty?!? posted by: kurtmaddox (reply) post date: 04.09.08 (10:50 am) Reply to: surrogate Thanks... I believe this could be a big break for Stewart. He's a great guy and a good friend so I hope he's able to find a home there with the Petty organization for awhile. A guy named Robbie Loomis runs the show for the Petty's and he's as good as the come in the racing business. The difference between 1st and 31st in NASCAR isn't much more than a frog's hair, so it takes near perfection to compete. posted by: kurtmaddox (reply) post date: 04.09.08 (10:51 am) Reply to: Sis You'd date the Crew Chief just to meet Kyle? ;-) posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 04.09.08 (6:58 pm) I know next to nothing about Nascar. I admire anyone who continues with an attitude of humility in the midst of competitive success. Sounds like the kind of guy you should introduce to your sister. posted by: kurtmaddox (reply) post date: 04.09.08 (7:36 pm) Reply to: PastorDave She doesn't want Stewart -- she wants KYLE! Ha! Ha! posted by: Sis (reply) post date: 04.10.08 (7:25 am) LOL...I don't mean "hook me up" as in dating, I mean team him your sister loves Kyle Petty and has been a fan for YEEEEEEARS even though he doesn't win so that if they are ever near Louisville, KY I can meet Kyle Petty :p I think Kyle Petty is married anyway isn't he? Your friend I'm sure since he's a big NASCAR crew chief has all the women he needs :) I'd like to be his friend though :P posted by: Stewart (reply) post date: 04.17.08 (12:03 pm) Kurt!!!! I love your blog LOL!!!! posted by: kurtmaddox (reply) post date: 04.17.08 (1:25 pm) Reply to: Stewart Well, if it isn't the Man of the Hour! Ha! Ha! I wondered when you'd get around to Googling yourself and finding this post. See ya' at California Speedway this summer, buddy! posted by: Pam Cooper (reply) post date: 04.19.08 (2:15 pm) What a great blog--I totally agree!! posted by: kurtmaddox (reply) post date: 04.19.08 (2:21 pm) Reply to: Pam Cooper I'm glad to see the Cooper family approves ;-) Stewart's a great person and a good friend -- he deserves all the success in the world! posted by: peter D (reply) post date: 04.25.08 (5:18 pm) Cooper just made the best move on his life. IF and when the Petty team becomes competative your talking about a race team that has over 100 more wins than any other race team out team. If the day comes when Petty wins, DEI and what they represent will become a memory,, go gem coop... remember. you are working for perhaps that most storied race team in the history of motorsport. posted by: kurtmaddox (reply) post date: 04.25.08 (10:45 pm) Reply to: peter D I was raised on NASCAR and spent nearly every summertime Saturday night at the old Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville watching Darrell Waltrip win several track championships while battling Jack Ingram, Flookie Buford and Coo Coo Marlin. I can remember like it was yesterday when Richard Petty would come to Nashville for a race. It was truly like getting to see the King because in my little world Richard Petty was "The King" and always will be. Steward Cooper loves racing and he has a deep respect for the sport and for those who laid the groundwork for what NASCAR is today. I know Stewart would love nothing better than to play a key role in helping to return today's Petty Enterprises to the top level of NASCAR where it belongs! Thanks for visiting and know that this blog is now officially a Petty #45 fan blog every weekend! |
