And it is further true amongst all those who claim leadership by virtue of divine authority we may apply this test with authority - that the man who stands for humanity, first, last and all the time, against all vested interest, religious and economic, is the man who stands as Jesus stood. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

As you know, mom and Warren came to Louisville yesterday around 4 or 5. We started out with dinner, then a quick trip to the skate park, then a long trip to shop for Nanny. Warren wanted to go to his aunt Cindy's to get his "pig money", so we made a quick trip out to their house to pick up a big jar of change. So we are driving down Hwy 22 on the way back to my apartment and we are all talking about nothing in particular and Warren just simply says "I love you guys". We hadn't done anything big, just the three of hanging out and just in a very relaxed car ride, he says what he feels. He is truly pure of heart if ever a person was. posted by: kurtmaddox (reply) post date: 04.21.08 (9:19 am) Reply to: Sis Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God :-) posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 04.22.08 (6:57 am) So, where did you get your big head? It is great that you value family connections, and have such a rich line of kin folk. I've a suspicion that you will find it hard to have the quality of life, with which you are accustomed, in that large apartment complex and ultra-competitive work environment. So hurry up and prove what you think you have to prove. posted by: kurtmaddox (reply) post date: 04.22.08 (9:11 am) Reply to: PastorDave I got my big head the traditional way -- my EGO! Ha! Ha! I'm actually very "home" here in my new environs. There's a process working itself out at the moment and this is simply what it looks like at this moment in time. All good things come to those who "wait on the Lord" :-) posted by: auntconi (reply) post date: 04.23.08 (10:24 pm) Nice post Kurt ~ I feel like I know you and your family already! posted by: kurtmaddox (reply) post date: 04.24.08 (3:16 pm) Reply to: auntconi Hey, I'm glad you feel that way -- I have a wonderful family and I revel in family stories! |
