Adrianna is Nicole's mother's niece and Nicole's little cousin. Adrianna's mother, also Cathy's niece, has some life challenges that she is doing her best to resolve. Cathy has been caring for Adrianna for some time through the ups and downs of that process, which unfortunately became such that Adrianna's best interest became to be "placed permanently" in the care of her Aunt Cathy. So, Cathy (Nicole's wonderful mom) has permanent custody of Adrianna and will raise her. It is always very humbling to in the presence of human beings like Cathy who give so much and do it without fanfare or expectation of gratitude. Adrianna is with Nicole and Cathy (Nicole's BioMom and Adrianna's Bonus Mom) in Nashville packing up Nicole's apartment. Adrianna's having a blast and is just so dang funny all the time. She makes me laugh so hard on the phone. We are hoping things work out that maybe they can make the move to SoCal soon as well. |
